Emerald Rhinestone Bib Necklace
Hi friends! This gorgeous necklace is one of the many pieces you can learn how to make here at Jan's Jewels. It's bold, bright, and elegant!

Emerald Rhinestone Bib Necklace

You Will Need:

33 9mm or 42ss Transparent Faceted Glass Stones
33 9mm or 42ss Scalloped Settings (Can be with or without a ring)
20 4mm Faceted Glass Beads
62 5mm Oval Jump Rings
2 5mm Jump Rings
1 10mm Single-Strand Box Clasp

Set all of your stones. Seven of the stones should be set with the loops on each end bent flat. The remaining stones should be set with the two loops on the end and one loop at the side (center) bent flat. These loops will be used to connect the settings to each other.

The first row of seven stones should be the settings with three rings bent flat. Connect each setting to the next with a single 5mm oval jump ring. You will have a total of seven rows of settings, reducing each row by one, with the last row containing a single setting.

All but the last setting should have three loops bent flat. The last setting will only have two loops bent flat.
With the second through sixth rows you will connect the side loop of the first setting to the bottom loop of the first setting on the top row. The other side of the first setting on the second row should be attached to the bottom loop of the second setting on the first row. The second setting on the second row will also be connected to the second setting on the first row with a separate 4mm jump ring. Continue this process until you have all seven rows.

Make six beaded chains with two beads each and two beaded chains with four beads each. Attach the beaded chains to the two loop settings with a jump ring. You need two strands with 4 beads, 1 setting, 2 beads, 1 setting, 2 beads, 1 setting and 2 beads at the end to complete each side of chain as pictured.

Connect each bead and setting/stone chain to each side of the bib with a 5mm jump ring.

Use the 5mm jump rings to attach the clasp to the other end of the chains.

Wear with pride 'cause you made it yourself!!! (This show-stopper can of course be approximated or imitated with different colors/sizes/etc! Add your own spin!)
