Shipping Policy

Shipping Time -- Orders are filled Monday through Friday and will ship within 4 business days once payment is received/cleared. We do our best to ship everything that comes in before 12 noon CST on Friday by Friday afternoon. While our mail is generally picked up in the afternoon, we do multiple shipments throughout the day. We cannot make adjustments to an order once it has been packed for shipping.

All orders are shipped via USPS, and when it is available, with Delivery Confirmation. Tracking information will be provided for each package we ship.


You may choose to have your order shipped via USPS First Class, Priority, or Express mail. First Class packages typically take 3-5 business days to reach their destination, Priority packages should arrive within 3 business days, and USPS Express Mail is either next-day or two-day (you can check the USPS website to see which service is offered in your area). Express mail packages are moved to the front of the line to be filled as quickly as possible, so please make sure you have all of the items you need in your cart before checking out. Occasionally when particularly bulky items are ordered, they cannot be shipped at the rate quoted. In these instances, the customer will be contacted with a new shipping rate. If you choose Express, please include a phone number with the order so that you can be contacted if there is a problem with the order. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALL EXPRESS ORDERS DEFAULT WITH A SIGNATURE REQUIRED. EVEN IF WE REMOVE THE REQUIRED SIGNATURE (WHICH ALSO NEGATES THE INSURANCE) THE POSTAL CARRIER WILL USE HIS/HER OWN DISCRETION AS TO WHETHER OR NOT THEY WILL LEAVE A PACKAGE WITHOUT A SIGNATURE.

We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time offered to you by Jan's Jewelry Supplies or the USPS only as an estimate. We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping.

If an order comes back as undeliverable you will be contacted to verify your address. If all is correct, a second attempt will be made to ship the package. If an incorrect address (address with any error) was provided, the customer will be contacted to pay additional shipping fees to have the package shipped again.
